posted Never be afraid to go after something that may seem unfamiliar because realistically the worse thing that can happen is you get a no. But it is then and only then that you will know for sure and you won't have to assume what the outcome will be. Imagine this...that one position (job, promotion, or leadership role) that you may have been fearful of pursuing initially may ultimately be the one designed just for you.

Throughout my work and personal experience, I have been privileged to develop a spirit of self-promotion and assurance.
